This year the American Pediatric Association declared youth mental health a national emergency. This year join Physiology First in making the health of our kids a national priority.

Who Are We:
Physiology First University is a 501c3 nonprofit organization. Our mission is to redefine how we approach youth mental health through cutting edge education on the body and brain.

What We Do:

Since our inception in 2019 Physiology First has achieved the following mental health milestones for kids thank to donor support:

  • Built a first of it's kind mental health education center for kids. Our brain and body based learning campus in Freeport, Maine teaches breathing exercises, brain science, and the role of physical activity in mental health.

  • Our online learning platform connects kids from across the globe to no-cost resources for mental health and fitness.

  • Training a global network of ambassadors to present mental health and fitness education to kids in their communities.

  • Partnerships with schools across the globe to bring proactive, science based, mental health education to kids.

What your contribution to Physiology First supports:

Our goal for 2022 is to build youth mental health solutions that scale to the size of the problem.

Your contributions support the growth and development of our pioneering "mental health education campuses, training for our PFU ambassadors across the globe, and no-cost online resources for kids, parents, and teachers, including access to experts in health, fitness, and leading edge science.

Together we can shift the paradigm in how we approach youth mental health and bring proactive, empowering, and skills focused education to the next generation!

"I used to get really stressed out, anxious, and overwhelmed. Working on my breathing at Physiology First University has taught me that I can deal with my anxiety and stress proactively. Now I share these exercises with friends and the younger kids that I work with at my job."
